National Associação Brasileira de Agências de Viagens (ABAV) was founded on Dec.28th 1953, and it was the most representative agency in Brazil. ABAV directs and leads the development of the national travel industry for more than 60 years, and it has 3000 travel agency members which come from 27 states, and they represents 80 percent nation travel market.
ABAV represents its members to protect the travel industry; and it supports and helps national travel industry. It provides the training and works with the ICCABAV in order to promote the value of the human resources in the tourism industry; ABAV also works with the public departments to conduct research and satisfy the industry needs.
