Founded in June 28 of 1927, Iberia Airlines has been operating more than 90 years. It is not only Spanish largest airline but also the most important airline which connects Europe and South America. It is also one of the founding member of the One World Airline Alliance.

After the merger of Iberia Airlines with British Airways in 2010, International Aviation Group was founded. The passenger capacity of AIG ranks sixth in the world and its freight capacity ranks seventh in the world. Iberia Airlines operate mainly in Europe and Asia with more than 40 countries and more than 110 destinations. In Asia Iberia Airlines connect with Shanghai of and Tokyo of Japan.

Headquartered in Madrid and with 16 thousands staffs, Iberia Airlines operate with more than 140 aircraft of Airbus, it transports nearly 30 million passengers per year. Its hub airport is Madrid Barajas International Airport, its key airports are Barcelona International Airport, Seville airport, North Tenerife airport and Alicante airport.

Besides transporting passengers and cargo, Iberia Airlines carries out other operations such as aircraft maintenance, airport operations, IT system, and diet during flight.
