The tourism industry serves as a crucial catalyst for economic prosperity and an industry of joy that fulfills people’s aspirations for a better life. This year’s theme, “Geared Up for a New Venture—The Future is Now” will focus on cutting-edge topics closely associated with the tourism industry and discuss visions for its development. During this event from October 29 to November 1, 2024 in Sanya, China, we will also host the 3rd Session of the 2nd WTA Council, WTA Annual Meeting 2024, and Night of Hainan Welcome Reception, as well as unveil two noteworthy publications: 2024 WTA Best Practices of Rural Revitalization through Tourism and Developing Local Communities through Sustainable Tourism Development Roadmap.
