Hyatt inks deal to develop dozens of new China hotels

Hyatt Hotels Corporation plans to ramp up its portfolio of Independent Collection and select service hotels in China. It has teamed up with Hangzhou Trade and Tourism Group and Zhejiang Dragon Hotel Management. Together they will drive the expansion of hotels across China.

Hyatt intends to develop more than 60 hotels over the coming decade, the first of which is expected to be a Hyatt Place hotel in Hangzhou. These hotels will become part of Hyatt’s loyalty program, World of Hyatt.
