WTA Welcomes Nine New Members

Membership is central to WTA’s mission. By strengthening communication with members, WTA actively promotes brand activities and reinforces its leadership role in the global industry. From March 5-7, 2024, WTA successfully held the “WTA Members’ Day • Hainan 2024” in Sanya, Hainan Province, China. The event, themed “New Insights into Leisure Travel and Expenditure 2024”, focused on new driving forces in tourism consumption during recovery, promoting global tourism interconnectivity, shared governance, and sustainable development, earning widespread praise from participants. Members’ Day is characterized by its limited access, clear themes, diverse formats, and strong outreach, serving as a regular platform for members to connect, deepen friendships, and discuss cooperation. WTA plans to continue organizing Members’ Day events aligned with current hot topics, further solidifying its role as a platform for member exchange and cooperation and improving mechanisms for member interaction and sharing.

To establish a regular communication mechanism between members and the alliance, WTA has launched a “Member News” column on its official media platform, providing a space to showcase recent updates and share development achievements. To date, 17 issues have been published. WTA will continue to focus on member needs, enhance member services, and improve the value chain to better serve its members.
