The five-season micro-documentary series Better Tourism, Better Life, Better World is produced based on 14 selected cases from WTA Best Practice in Poverty Alleviation through Tourism. Through narrations of the main characters, this series shows the typical image of the locals using actual video footage and delves deeply into the community by alternating between different character viewpoints that connect past, present, and future, fully demonstrating the vitality and transformation that tourism brings to local communities.
This exhibition was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and organized by the WTA. As one of the featured activities at an important point in time in the fight against poverty, the exhibition showcased the unique tourism resources, original ecological folk culture, and images of production and life in areas that await poverty alleviation, demonstrating the local development process, residents' spiritual outlook, and the achievements of poverty alleviation through tourism in an all-around, multi-angle, and realistic three-dimensional perspective.
