WTA Members’s Day · Hainan
From March 5th to 7th, the “WTA Members’ Day • Hainan 2024,” themed “New Insights into Leisure Travel and Expenditure in 2024,” was successfully held in Sanya. This premier event, orchestrated by the World Tourism Alliance and hosted by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan Province, with Airbnb as the supporting organization, witnessed the convergence of 70 distinguished guests.

2019 WTA Members’ Day · Guilin, China
On June 14, the Third WTA Members’ Day in 2019, with the theme of “Sharing Tourism and Rural Revitalization”, was successfully held in Guilin, Guangxi, China. The event was attended and addressed by Liu Shijun, Secretary General of the WTA, Gan Lin, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and An Li, Airbnb Vice-President for Chinese Public Policy. Also participating in the event were more than 80 representatives from nearly 30 member entities including culture and tourism departments from some Chinese provinces , autonomous regions and municipalities, Global Tourism Economy Research Centre, World Tourism Cities Federation, China Association of Travel Services, China Tourist Attraction Association, Meituan Travel, Hubei Culture & Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Guilin Tourism University. The event was hosted by the WTA and co-organized by Airbnb, a member of WTA.

On May 8, the Second Members’ Day event of the World Tourism Alliance (WTA) 2019 was successfully held in Enshi Grand Canyon, Hubei Province. The theme of this Members’ Day is “Developing Original Ecological Resources–Multiple Empowerment and Win-win”. The event was organized by the WTA and co-organized by its member unit, Hubei Culture and Tourism Investment Group. Zhang Yuan, Director of the WTA’s General Business Department, hosted the event.
