Chairman DuanQiang Pays Visit to WTA Member City of Carcassonne

On April 6th, 2019, WTA Chairman DuanQiang led a delegation to Carcassonne, the capital of the department of Aude in Southern France, for an indepth exchange on furthering cooperation with its Mayor. Duan presented the latter the WTA membership certificate.

Duan was warmly received by Mayor GérardLarratof Carcassonne in the city hall where he was given a detailed introduction of the rich local cultural heritages and various initiatives aimed at the Chinese market. Larrat expressed his hope to deepen cooperation with the Chinese tourism industry through WTA and looked forward to contributing to the development of the Alliance.

Liu Shijun, Secretary-General of WTA, Jean-Louis Bes, Vice Mayor of Carcassonne, and Gilles Clément, Managing Directorof Carcassonne Tourist Office were present at the meeting.
