HANGZHOU, China – The World Tourism Alliance (WTA) held its 2025 Annual Meeting in Hangzhou on the morning of November 19.

Presided over by Vice Chair and Secretary-General Mr. ZHENG Hao, the meeting was attended by WTA Chair Mr. ZHANG Xu, alongside Vice Chairs Mr. Adam BURKE, Ms. Pansy HO, and Mr. XU Peng. The agenda featured reports on the outcomes of the Fourth Session of the Second WTA Council, the WTA General Program of Work for 2025, and the Draft Program of Work for 2026. The meeting concluded with the issuance of membership certificates to new WTA members.

A highlight of the event was the official induction of new members into the WTA. Following the approval of the WTA Council, 15 organizations from seven countries and regions, including China, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and Kenya, were welcomed as the newest members of the WTA. The newly admitted members were presented with certificates during the meeting. The full list of new members is as follows:

With these new additions, the World Tourism Alliance now boasts 269 members from 49 countries and regions worldwide.
