Recently, the 5th Hebei Tourism Industrial Development Conference kicked off in Zhangjiakou. Liu Shijun, Secretary-General of WTA, attended and addressed the event on invitation.

At present, the trend of China’s economic and social development, the demand of the tourism consumer market, and people’s yearning for a better life will not change. Tourism has great potential and broad prospects for development.
Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and upholding the concept that “Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, this conference innovated the model of “online organization” and sought progress both online and offline centering on the theme of “Beijing-Zhangjiakou Leisure Area, Vibrant Olympic City”, to build a “Beijing-Zhangjiakou Sports Culture Tourism Leisure Belt”, usher in a new development pattern of “all-region, four-season and smart tourism in one belt and five regions”, and build an international tourism destination that integrates ecology, culture, sports, healthcare and tourism functions and features high-quality development.
