The World Tourism Alliance (WTA) proudly announced the addition of 7 new members following approval at the 2nd WTA Council on March 21, 2025. The latest members, including distinguished organizations from across the globe, are listed by membership certificate number as follows:
1. The Department of Tourism, Culture,Radio, Television, and Sports of Hainan Province (China, Asia)
2. Department of Tourism of Almaty city (Kazakhstan,Asia)
3. Lhasa Municipal People’s Government (China, Asia)
4. Yan’an Municipal People’s Government (China, Asia)
5. Xiamen C&D Global Tourism Group Co., Ltd. (China, Asia)
6. Zhejiang Daily Digital Culture Group Co., Ltd. (China, Asia)
7. United Waterways (Switzerland, Europe)

The addition of these members strengthens the alliance and brings renewed energy to WTA. Going forward, WTA will continue to focus on meeting member needs by establishing platforms for cooperative dialogue, practical information sharing, media resource exchange, and integrated development.With the inclusion of these new members, WTA now has 259 members from 45 countries and regions, including 122 based in China and 137 overseas members.
