WTA Vice Chair and Secretary-General-Designate ZHENG Hao Attends 2025 Trip.com Group Global Partner Summit

On November 9, the 2025 Trip.com Group Global Partner Summit kicked off in Istanbul, Türkiye. The opening forum featured addresses by Serdar Çam, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye; WEI Xiaodong, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Istanbul; LIANG Jianzhang, Executive Chairman of the Board of Trip.com Group; Jane SUN, CEO of Trip.com Group; and ZHENG Hao, Vice Chair & Secretary-General-Designate of the World Tourism Alliance.

In his address, Mr. ZHENG commended Trip.com Group for its 26 years of dedicated growth into one of the world’s leading one-stop travel service platforms. He noted that the company’s ongoing innovation in technology, user experience, and product diversification has offered valuable insights and solutions to support the harmonious development of global tourism. As a long-standing member of the World Tourism Alliance (WTA) council, Trip.com Group has consistently supported the Alliance’s initiatives and contributed positively to its progress. Mr. ZHENG reaffirmed that the WTA remains committed to its mission of "Better Tourism, Better Life, Better World", actively building platforms for dialogue and cooperation, sharing developmental experience and innovative outcomes, and helping the global tourism sector navigate both challenges and opportunities. Mr. ZHENG expressed the WTA’s expectation to collaborate with Trip.com Group, the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), and other WTA members, as well as tourism partners worldwide, to explore new pathways for technology-enabled tourism, foster product and service innovation, and advance the industry toward high-quality, smart, green, and inclusive growth. He emphasized that tourism should serve as a bridge connecting people worldwide and contribute to the shared well-being of global communities.

During the event, Mr. ZHENG Hao met with Sinan Seha Türkseven, General Manager of the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), and Ebubekir Kadri Bişkinler, Counselor for Culture and Tourism at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in China. He invited them to attend the 2025 WTA • Xianghu Dialogue, scheduled for November 18-21 in Hangzhou, China.
