Budapest, July 3 - The "Europe-China Tourism Dialogue" Promotional Event：Exhibition was inaugurated today in Budapest. This significant event was co-hosted by the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), the European Travel Commission (ETC), and the Hungarian Tourism Agency (HTA). Key dignitaries in attendance included Mr. ZHANG Xu, WTA Chair; Mr. GONG Tao, Ambassador of China to Hungary; Mr. Eduardo SANTANDER, Executive Director of the European Travel Commission and WTA Vice Chair; and Mr. Olivér CSENDES, CEO of Visit Hungary, all of whom delivered addresses at the opening ceremony.

ZHENGZHOU, June 16-17 - The 2024 Henan Provincial Tourism Development Conference was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Mr. LIU Shijun, Vice Chair and Secretary-General of the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), was invited to attend the event and deliver a speech at the Cultural Tourism Season Inaugural Ceremony under the theme "Walking through Henan, Understanding China”.

The "EU-China Tourism Dialogue" is scheduled to take place from July 3 to 5 in Budapest, Hungary. This event is co-hosted by the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), the European Travel Commission (ETC), and the Hungarian Tourism Agency, with support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of National Economy of Hungary and the Ministry of EU Affairs of Hungary.

Shanghai, May 27, 2024 – The 2024 ITB China kicked off today at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, marking a significant event in the global tourism calendar.

The World Tourism Alliance (WTA) announced the addition of nine new members, as approved by the 2nd WTA Council. These new members include five domestic organizations and four international members. As a result, the total number of WTA members now stands at 240, covering 42 countries and regions, with 115 domestic and 125 international members.

Macao, May 15-17, 2024 - The PATA Annual Summit 2024, hosted by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and co-hosted by SJM Resorts, S.A., was successfully held in Macao, China. Mr. LIU Shijun, the World Tourism Alliance (WTA) Vice Chair and Secretary-General, was invited to participate in a panel discussion during the summit.

In a significant stride toward fostering deeper tourism cooperation between China and Europe, the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), in collaboration with the European Travel Commission (ETC) and the Hungarian Tourism Agency, is set to co-host the "EU-China Tourism Dialogue" in Budapest, Hungary.

On the afternoon of April 25, the 2024 Shandong High-Quality Cultural and Tourism Industry Development Conference opened in Linyi.
