On November 9, the 2025 Trip.com Group Global Partner Summit kicked off in Istanbul, Türkiye. The opening forum featured addresses by Serdar Çam, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye; WEI Xiaodong, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Istanbul; LIANG Jianzhang, Executive Chairman of the Board of Trip.com Group; Jane SUN, CEO of Trip.com Group; and ZHENG Hao, Vice Chair & Secretary-General-Designate of the World Tourism Alliance.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – From November 7 to 11, 2025, the 26th Session of the UN Tourism General Assembly convened in Riyadh. Mr. ZHENG Hao, Vice Chair and Secretary-General-Designate of the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), led a delegation to the 45th UN Tourism Affiliate Members Plenary Session upon invitation.

The "2025 WTA • Xianghu Dialogue" will be held in Hangzhou, China, from November 18 to 21. This event is supported by the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), European Travel Commission (ETC), Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF), Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

On November 4, 2025, Mr. ZHENG Hao, Vice Chair and Secretary-General-Designate of the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), met with Ms. Maria Rosa Azzolina, President of the Istituto Italo Cinese (IIC), and her delegation at the WTA Headquarters in Hangzhou, discussing ways to deepen tourism cooperation.

On October 25, the 2025 International Wudang Tai Chi Culture Festival kicked off at Taixu Palace on Wudang Mountain in Hubei. The opening ceremony was presided over by CHEN Ping, Vice Governor of Hubei Province, with WANG Zhonglin, Secretary of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and Director of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, officially declaring the event open.

From October 14 to 15, the 5th Grand Canal Folk and Ethnic Culture Exchange & Exhibition Week and the 2025 Suzhou Shishan Market Art Season was held in Suzhou, under the theme "Affection for the Canal • Melodies of Jiangnan". Mr. ZHANG Xu, Chairman of the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), was invited to attend the event.

On July 30, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing jointly hosted a reception to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal. Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress XIAO Jie attended the event.

Samarkand, Uzbekistan, July 3 – The ancient Silk Road, spanning continents and centuries, has once again brought together global tourism leaders as the "WTA·Silk Road Dialogue" convened in Samarkand.

From July 2 to 5, Mr. ZHANG Xu, Chair of the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), led a delegation to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, attending the "WTA·Silk Road Dialogue" in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

On July 3, during the WTA·Silk Road Dialogue in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, the World Tourism Alliance (WTA) and UN Tourism jointly released the full report titled "Developing Local Communities through Sustainable Tourism Development Roadmap".
